Why Does Barefoot Feel So Freaking Good?

Summer time is my favorite time of the year for many reasons. First and foremost, my body loves heat, I never get sick, the sunshine warms the sea and makes it more inviting and surfable, plus another big bonus..  it allows us to go barefoot.  Turns out walking barefoot not only feels freaking amazing but it has the ability to pump potent “feel good” antioxidants into our bloodstream.  According to Mercola.com…

  • When walking on the earth barefoot, free electrons from the earth transfer into your body via the

soles of your feet. These free electrons are some of the most potent antioxidants known to man.

  • Lack of grounding, due to widespread use of rubber or plastic-soled shoes, may have contributed to the rise of modern diseases by allowing chronic inflammation to proliferate unchecked.
  • Experiments have shown that free electrons from the earth cause beneficial changes in heart rate, decreases inflammation, reduces pain, promotes healthy sleep, and thins your blood, making it less viscous, which has beneficial impact on cardiovascular disease.
  • Ideal locations for earthing are on the beach, close to or in the water, and on dewy grass.

So if you’re not already walking around barefoot, take off those shoes and socks and take a dip into bliss.

On a musical note, the World Premier of my first official music video will be released in the next week so keep an eye out.  Its for the song smile for me and its another form of “feel good” sensation which we hope to share with 10 million people world-wide.
