Feel Good Festival at House Of Blues – Supporting Positive Music & Yoga
Thursday Night June 21st 7-11 PM
The Feel Good Festival (formerly Three Waves A Day) invites all yogis and music aficionados to come spend an evening at the House of Blues with some of today’s top conscious entertainers. The event is part of an ongoing tour across America whose goal is to create alternative methods for Feeling Good with Positive Music and Yoga. The event will benefit two non-profits: the “Feel Good Music Project,” which is dedicated to inspiring and lifting people with positive music and “Yoga for Youth” a nationwide organization dedicated to empowering urban youth with the timeless tools yoga.
Featuring Steve Gold, a yoga music icon in the San Diego community, Steve is known for his group singing in yoga studios, but actually spent 10 years as a blues musician and will break out some of his unique and captivating mantra blues to kick off the event at 7pm. Next the event will feature SD local musician and yoga instructor Chad Scott, a high energy entertainer with melodic, conscious songs that fuse Reggae, R&B, Funk and Rock into blissful, mind melding grooves.
To celebrate the graceful dance of Yoga the event will also feature an acrobatic yoga performance by Simone Ressner and Chris Burns, topped off with another high energy musical performance by soulful crooners Avasa & Matty Love who opened for MC Yogi to a standing crowd only last year at the World Beat Center.
“All Ages Welcome”, event runs Thursday night June 21st from 7pm to 11pm. Presale tickets are $15 and $20 the day of at the door. All net proceeds to benefit the Feel Good Music Project and Yoga for Youth.
